Painted with acrylics, the canvas for this piece is hand-dyed, delicately ruffle-edged paper.  The interior of the Louvre is of course breathtaking, but it's just as worth-while to wonder the grounds aimlessly - people watching, the grass green and perfectly manicured, the intricate carvings on every square inch speaking to the creativity and brilliance of the architects and craftsman who had a hand in it's construction so long ago.
